At The Knitting Nook, we pride ourselves on giving back to the community. 

We want to not only create a community through knitting, but also support the community through knitting. 

We are currently in the process of hosting charity craft projects to help those in need. This can range from knitting beanies for Westmead Children’s Hospital through to crocheting blankets to give to women’s refuges. 

Please contact Heather if you would like to join her in the shop to knit for our first charity! 

During Monday – Saturday from 1pm, we will start our charity Knit Alongs. Our first charity is KOGO – Knit One Give One (https://www.kogo.org.au/about). 

You will be knitting your own project for the charity, so please choose a pattern from the KOGO website, here: https://www.kogo.org.au/patterns

Also bring a gold coin donation for tea/coffee and let the charity craft begin! See you in the shop!
